  • Labournet
    Lots of information on the labour movement world wide, including links to the Korean general strike Web page, a labour movement photo site, the Liverpool dockers lock out web site, the Hillingdon strike site, current disputes, international labour links, and much more. Labornet is its US based partner, with a lot of US union sites and a very useful links page. Both are part of the Association for Progressive Communications.

    An outstanding source of news, statistics, Union links, and web based e-mail. This site is basically concerned with unions in the U.S. If you are looking for a labor union in the U.S. this is a great place to start.
  • United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America
    A democratic national union representing some 35,000 workers in a wide variety of manufacturing, public sector and private non-profit sector jobs. UE is an independent union (not affiliated with the AFL-CIO) proud of its democratic structure and progressive policies.

    Lowes workers are paid sub standard wages. This company is one of the fastest growing companies in the world and they should pay their employees a living wage!     The Clean Clothes Campaign (or the "CCC" as it is popularly called) aims to improve working conditions in the garment and sportswear industry.
